Our Spot

In our Kiteboarding spot at Santa Marianita Beach we have ideal conditions for the practice of kiteboarding at all levels. It is recognized as the best beach in Ecuador for the sport.

Privileged with a long windy season that goes from May to December, with an average of 14-25 knots. Riders at this spot use 9m to 12m kites. Wind direction is side-onshore. This, combined with an approx. 5 km sandy beach makes it a very safe place for learning the sport.

The wind generally starts around noon time and increases during the first hours of the afternoon. The wind at this spot is very consistent, no gusts, and most days lasts until 5:30pm.
