The beach and village of Santa Marianita are located 18 kilometers south of the city of Manta.
Take a taxi cab from Manta for USD 5 to USD 7.
Alternatively, you can take one of the camionetas that leave from the Central Market in Manta for 1 USD. You can also flag them down along their way south. The camionetas are white pick-up trucks with a covered loading area that is equipped with wooden benches. Make sure you get off in Santa Marianita, not in one of the villages on the way.
